As a writer, I strive to create work that's weird, nerdy, and unafraid of the dark. My fiction explores the challenges of modern life from unconventional perspectives, often juxtaposing monstrous characters and unexplainable occurrences with the aggressively mundane, while my nonfiction weaves connections between eclectic ideas big and small. I also have a soft spot for new media and have been known to experiment with video and other modes of storytelling.
